Kontakty. W drodze 
W różnorodności i chaosie współczesnego świata mediów fotografie kontaktowe wyróżniają się dbałością o obraz i sposób jego kształtowania. Kontakty to fotografie o wyjątkowej kondensacji składników obrazu. Ich esencjonalność i niezwykła plastyka przestrzeni związane są z określonymi  zasadami związanymi z procesem kreacji, które decydują o istocie tego medium. Kontakty są powrotem do źródeł fotografii z uzyskanym metodą fotochemiczną wielkoformatowym negatywem, oraz odbitką, którą wykonuje się bezpośrednio z negatywu, stykowo, bez powiększania, w ciemni fotograficznej.
Pierwsze wystawy kontaktów w Polsce organizował  Jakub Byrczek w Galerii „Pusta” w Katowicach
i w Galerii BWA w Jeleniej Górze. W latach 1989 – 2002 zrealizowane zostały cztery edycje wystawy, pokazywane w różnych miejscach w Polsce i za granicą. W trzydziestą rocznicę pierwszych „Kontaktów” w Galerii BWA w Jeleniej Górze w 2019 roku powróciliśmy do tej idei wystawą „Kontakty – c.d.”.
W 2023 roku prezentujemy kolejną wystawę z tego cyklu pt. „Kontakty. W drodze”, która jest przeglądem współczesnej fotografii kontaktowej. W wystawie biorą udział artyści, dla których wielkoformatowa fotografia jest ważnym środkiem artystycznego wyrazu. Projekt ma zasięg ponadlokalny, zaproszeni twórcy mieszkają w Jeleniej Górze ale także w różnych częściach Polski, oraz poza jej granicami: w Nowym Jorku, Pradze czy Londynie.
